HTC Thunderbolt: the iPhone killer? -PCWorld

The HTC Thunderbolt is gotten a good deal of positive coverage tech press, and now can we have anecdotal evidence that these good words can translate into success for the device. According to data from research firm BITG, 150, Verizon Wireless stores have shown that in some cases, the Thunderbolt is outselling iPhone 4.

According to data from the comany 61% of the stores says they sell an equal number of devices and 11% more iPhones by Thunderbolts, evident mainly in the Southeastern us. But 28% sell more Thunderbolts, apparently indicating that at least from Verizon, iPhone may have met his match.

Part of me wants to say, I am shocked by this, then again I'm not sure. Thunderbolt is a nice device, and is, is brand new. No iPhone 4, with the exception of a CDMA version. Add to this that some people are waiting for the next iPhone-whenever it may arrive-and that also hurt sales.

Apple iPhone 4 coming to Verizon in February. However, the lack of lines, leads to the analysis of failure of kneejerk some practical tech leaders, although the later is disclosed, the phone has sold some one million units in the first weeks of the launch.

We are not really sure whether this should be done with the now aging device or user apathy, since Apple has yet to release a new device of both networks simultaneously, but the results for the study of BITG is to Stoke the fire.
